The O-H-M (Otsego, Herkimer, Montgomery Counties) Holstein Club is pleased to announce that their 2014 winter barn meeting will be held on Saturday, February 22 at Roedale Farm in Richfield Springs, NY from Noon to 3PM. A complimentary lunch will be served throughout the afternoon and all are invited to attend.
Roedale Farm is owned and operated by Allan, Pat, Jason, Holly, Luke and Theresa Pullis. The 100 cow herd has a RHA of 24,638 3.5 859 3.0 735 and a BAA of 108.6%. The herd will be re-scored on February 20.  Jason and Luke were recently honored by the New York Holstein Association with the 2014 Outstanding Young Breeder award. Several members of both cow families are being used as embryo donors and the influence of these two families is expected to grow over the next several years. In addition to the dairy herd, over 800 acres are utilized for crop production with a large percentage of farm income coming from the sale of excess crops.
The farm is located at 626 McShane Road, Richfield Springs, NY 13439 and is just 2.5 miles from US Route 20. For more information, please contact Jason at 315-794-6737 or Luke at 315-263-7422.
In addition to an afternoon of good food, cows and Holstein socializing, those that are young in age or young at heart are invited
