Application deadlines extended for MDAR programs MEGA, APSIP and CSAP

The Request for Response for the FY21 Matching Enterprise Grants for Agriculture (MEGA) program RFR: AGR-MEGA-FY21-11 has been amended.

The amendment allows applicants that have not yet filed 2019 taxes for their farm business to provide 2019 income and expense estimates with the application, and then submit a copy of the relevant tax form to the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) by July 29. The MEGA application deadline has been extended to 4 p.m. on April 20.

Application deadlines have also been extended for MDAR’s Agricultural Produce Safety Improvement Program (APSIP) and New Climate Smart Agriculture Program (CSAP).

The APSIP application deadline has been extended from Friday, May 8 to Friday, June 19. Applications must be received by MDAR no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, June 19. Applications can be emailed or mailed to Laura J. Maul, Program Coordinator, Department of Agricultural Resources, 251 Causeway St., Suite 500, Boston, MA 02114.

The CSAP application deadline has been extended as well, from Friday, May 8 to Friday, June 19. Applications must be received by the department no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, June 19. Applications must be sent by mail to Laura J. Maul, Program Coordinator, Department of Agricultural Resources, 251 Causeway St., Suite 500, Boston, MA 02114. Email and faxes will not be accepted.
