The Springville FFA Chapter sent 13 kids to camp Oswegatchie this year from July 10 to 15. Once again a great time was had by all!
Some of the highlights this year were tubing on the lake, taking a plane ride over the camp and the ropes course.
In 1946, Agricultural teachers representing the New York Future Farmers of America purchased the original 1,050 acres of land, plus buildings for $33,500. Since that time, Oswegatchie Camp has served as a summer camp.
For decades FFA members have been enjoying the peace and beauty of the camp. Many stories of Alumni FFA members are started with “Remember when we went to Oswegatchie?”
